Basia Bulat made the cover of the Georgia Straight the week of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. And it's no wonder. This young woman writes songs that could beguile even the most begrudging music fan. Basia says she likes songs that make people want to sing along. She's definitely succeeding in doing that with the songs she writes.
