For both Apostle of Hustle’s Andrew Whiteman, Julian Brown and Dean Stone and Tagaq, the notion of collaboration comes naturally.
Whiteman performs as a member of Broken Social Scene, Brown has toured and recorded with Feist, Stone has performed with Peter, Bjorn & John, while Tagaq, on her new album Anuk, brought in such diverse artists as Buck 65 and Mike Patton.
Exclaim said of the concert "Uniformly spectacular and tasteful musicianship dominated the night, leading to a standing ovation and the heart-tugging encore of 'Sleepwalking Ballad'. Thanks go to the CBC, for proof that Inuit throat singing and Cuban-infected indie rock blend beautifully."
