About the Show

The 180 is a show that's meant to get Canadians talking about what's going on in our country. Our playground? The issues that matter most to you wherever you live, coast to coast. Big city or small suburb, we'll bring you opinions, analysis, and points of view that get you going, and give you ways to get in on the debate.

Join our host Jim Brown in Calgary Sunday mornings at noon.

Before taking on the hosting duties at The 180, Jim Brown hosted Calgary's morning show The Eyeopener and The Morning Show in St. John's. His voice has also been heard across the country as Friday host of The Current and guest host of As It Happens, Q and The Sunday Edition. Prior to joining the CBC, Jim worked as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor.

Jim's first film, the feature documentary "Radiant City" which he co-wrote and co-directed, premiered in September 2006 at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was named one of the 10 best films of the year. "Radiant City" won the Genie award for Best Documentary of 2007. Jim's latest film, "The Future Is Now!" premiered in 2011 at the Hots Docs film festival.
