    China's Cultural Revolution: Red China Blues

    In 1966 Chinese leader Mao Zedong decided his country needed a shake-up. He invited young people to rise up and purge the nation of impure capitalistic supporters. Jan Wong was one of the first Westerners allowed to study at Beijing University. She saw the effects of the cultural revolution first hand.
