Because News is already Canada's number one quiz show. (Mind you ... it's number one in a field of one.)

Comedian Gavin Crawford is already declaring his latest project, Because News, "Canada's number one quiz show". Mind you, it's not hard to be number one in a field of one.

Still, this is no ordinary news quiz show. The former 22 Minutes cast member joins Shad to discuss his move to radio, and why Canada needs a smart-alecky take on top headlines.

WEB EXTRA | We gave the quizmaster a taste of his own medicine with these questions three. He got two right. Can you top his score?

  • Liberal leader Justin Trudeau released a new ad on Tuesday. In the ad, what is he riding?
  • The lead single from Justin Bieber's forthcoming album is shooting up the charts. What is the title of his song?
  • McDonalds is finally giving in and, beginning in October, will offer Americans what all day?

Listen to today's segment for the answers and to hear which of the three stumped Crawford.
