Jerrika Hinton did the unthinkable when she departed the hit show Grey's Anatomy on her own volition. After being singled out by Shonda Rhimes for a comedy pilot which ultimately didn't get picked up, she left for HBO's new show, Here and Now. Hinton plays the adopted Liberian daughter of a multi-racial family alongside Holly Hunter and Tim Robbins. Think This Is Us, with a timely political message.
