California seventh grader makes Lego braille printer

Listen 5:38

Student Shubham Banerjee has built a braille printer out of Lego building blocks.  And he's only in the seventh grade. The keen California student says that his braille printer is much cheaper than what's on the market. He plans to give away the design and the code for free, so that anyone can make their own.

Watch Shubham Banarjee demonstrating his invention with the help of his sister.
