Riding also contains the First Nation reserves of Cacouna and Whitworth.

    1994 ADQ MARIO DUMONT defeated PQ HAROLD LEBEL by 6,699 votes.
    1989 LIB CÔTÉ defeated PQ HAROLD LEBEL by 2,581 votes. Reappointed minister responsible for forests, Oct. 11, 1989; minister of forests, January 1991. Côt&3233; resigned on Jan. 7, 1994 and a byelection was called for Aug. 29. The byelection was cancelled with the election call.
