Iberville contains the following municipalities: Ange-Gardien, Henryville, Marieville, Mont-St-Grégoire, Noyan, Rougemont, St-Alexandre, Ste-Angèle-de-Monnoir, Ste-Anne-de-Sabrevois, Ste-Brigide-d'Iberville, St-Césaire, St-Georges-de-Clarenceville, St-Paul-d'Abbotsford, St-Pie, St-Sébastien and Venise-en-Québec.
It also contains that part of the city of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu situated to the east of the Richelieu River.

Political History:
In 1973, LIB JACQUES-R TREMBLAY defeated PC PAUL-YVON HAMEL by 2,429. PQ MARCEL PEPIN (president of CSN) was third.
In 1976, PQ JACQUES BEAUSEJOUR defeated UN URBAIN MORIN by 1,533 votes. LIB JACQUES TREMBLAY was third.
In 1981, PQ BEAUSEJOUR defeated LIB JEAN GUITE by 1,939 votes.
In 1985, LIB JACQUES TREMBLAY defeated PQ BEAUSEJOUR by 4,685 votes.
In 1989, LIB YVON LAFRANCE defeated PQ GILLES LEDUC by 3,245 votes. He quit Liberals Feb 9, 1994, sat as Independent, said he was going to join ADQ. When he quit he said Liberals had stifled all constitutional debate since defeat of Charlottetown Accord.
In 1994, PQ RICHARD LE HIR defeated LIB LYSE LAFRANCE-CHARLEBOIS by 1,464. Minister responsible for Restructuring, Sept. 26, 1994 to Nov. 9, 1995. Dec. 1995 - forced out of PQ caucus while Auditor-General investigated conflict-of-interest over award of contracts to study impact of separation. Cleared and asked Bouchard to return to caucus - said Bouchard never got back to him. April 30, 1996 - said he was leaving PQ to sit as an Independent. He said PQ had been taken over by hardlinders and premier's overtures to non-francophones were a "vulgar public relations exercise."
In 1998, PQ JEAN-PAUL BERGERON defeated LIB SYLVAIN LAPOINTE by 4,412 votes.
