LIB KENNETH FRASER, defeated in 1960, 1962; won in 1966, 1970 and 1973.

In 1976, UN CLAUDE DUBOIS defeated LIB FRASER by 2,728 votes. Dubois left UN and joined Liberals on Sept. 13, 1979.

In 1981, now LIB CLAUDE DUBOIS defeated PQ YVON FAILLE by 5,088 votes. In 1985, LIB DUBOIS defeated PQ GABRIEL GREGOIRE by 6,299 votes.

BEAUHARNOIS - HUNTINGDON:

In 1989, LIB ANDRÉ CHENAIL defeated PQ JEAN-MARIE LATREILLE by 3,064 votes.

In 1994, LIB CHENAIL again defeated PQ LATREILLE, this time by 3,042 votes.
