PQ JACQUES BARIL won in 1976 and 1981.

In 1985, LIB LAURIER GARDNER defeated PQ BRUNO ST-PIERRE by 2,038 votes.

In 1989, PQ JACQUES BARIL ran again and defeated LIB GARDNER by 2,692 votes.

In 1994, PQ BARIL defeated LIB MADELEINE DUSSEAULT by 9,126 votes.

In 1998, PQ BARIL defeated LIB JACQUES LAMONTAGNE by 7,272 votes.
