What you need to know
It's the election homestretch, and Quebec's politicians are making their last pitches to voters with their ideas on how to govern the province.
And the problems aren't small.
So, before you step into the polling booth Monday, use this site to find out what you need to know about your riding, the issues, the leaders, and the campaigning.
Read commentary on what other Quebecers are thinking about the election.
The Issues
The health-care system has major waiting lists and people are having trouble finding family doctors. The education system is under-funded, taxes are the highest in North America, and the modern world of work is putting stresses on the province's families. There are also the issues of mergers and creating a strong economy.
And then there's sovereignty
Also, find out what the promises really mean.
The Leaders and the Parties
But the election is also about the leaders gaining the confidence of the electorate and the electorate defining the leaders' political future.
A loss for Liberal leader Jean Charest would likely be the end of his political career as the Liberal leader in Quebec. PQ leader Bernard Landry needs to prove that he can lead his party to victory at the polls. ADQ leader Mario Dumont needs to show that his party is a real player, and can change the political power structure of the province over the long term.
