The Town of Percé and its tourist industry are hot on the heels of the federal Fisheries Department for quick action on the harbourfront wharf, barricaded without notice last week. We get the latest from Percé's Mayor, Bruno Cloutier.

Percé wharf suprise shutdown spurs frustration

That could have an impact on lobster fishermen who use the wharf. It could also be critical for tourism, because thousands of tourists come to that wharf every year to take boat tours to the Percé rock. André Méthot is a local store owner in Percé and he is President of the Geoparc tourist site and he joined us on the phone from Percé this morning.
