Riding Profile: Trois-Rivières
In every election but one since 1966, the riding of Trois-Rivières has voted for the party that formed government in Quebec's National Assembly. The one exception: in 2007, the riding elected the ADQ... a party that nevertheless surprised many by forming the official opposition in a minority government. That might have something to do with why political observers consider Trois-Rivières a bellweather riding. And it's why our Marc Apollonio headed there this week to find out what issues are weighing heavily on the minds of voters and candidates there.
