Fluoride will be back in Trois-Rivières water supply
Residents of Trois Rivières will soon have fluoride back in their drinking water. It's a good decision, according to Quebec's Public Health department.
But many residents are strongly opposed. They had mounted an intense campaign to convince councillors to keep Trois-Rivières fluoride-free. Gilles Parent is part of the broad Coalition against fluoridation, and is co-author of the book, "Fluoridation: Autopsy of a scientific error."
We also hear from Yves Lévesque. He's the mayor of Trois Rivières, and he defends his city's decision.
