People from the Baie des Chaleurs region braved the rain to attend a forum hosted by Quebec AM at the community centre in Cascapedia-St-Jules Wednesday night. We asked, "How do we ensure a bright future for anglophones along the Baie des Chaleurs?" The panelists included, Gilles Gagné, journalist with the Gaspé Spec. Catherine Johnson, the director general for the Gesgapegiag First Nation. Howard Miller, the interim director of the Eastern Shores School Board. Shigawake's Jennifer Hayes is a farmer, a blogger and a revitalization agent. And Norman Desjardins of Bonaventure, a retired teacher and a professional artist.

We started the evening by asking the panel about the changes they've seen in the region.
