Contamination levels in the Chaudière River

Contamination levels in the Chaudière River, directly affected by the Lac-Mégantic explosion this summer, are higher than what the provincial environment ministry has reported. We hear from Rosa Galvez, chair of the Civil and Water Engineering Department at Laval University, expert on hazardous spills, who helped analyze these samples. Daniel Green from Société pour Vaincre la Pollution also explains what these results tell us about the impact.
