Opening clinics... without doctors
In the likely event of spring elections, all political parties will argue they have the solution to improve the way the health care system works... but health workers are also stepping in to suggest how to reduce hospital wait times and improve services. They want Quebec to open "Proximity" clinics staffed by nurses, who could dispense basic health care, without the presence of a licensed doctor.
