A student village to improve safety for students
Bishop's students make up a big part of the life and culture in Lennoxville. And the borough is looking for ways to make the community more liveable for students and the people who live near them. That means addressing everything from student housing to noise complaints and vandalism.
They've just got permission from the province to designate a certain sector of town as a student village. David Price is the president of the Lennoxville borough and Kim Huet is the President of Bishops University students representative council.
They joined us in our Sherbrooke studio this morning to discuss the importance of this village as a safe and secure area for all.
