Thetford Mines looks to its post-asbestos future
One of the oldest asbestos mine sites in Quebec is getting a makeover. Residents of Thetford Mines are coming to terms with the loss of the asbestos industry, but it's still very much a part of their heritage. A new project hopes to bring that appreciation to new heights, by building an interpretation centre to tell the story of the old King Mine. Our Townships Reporter Sarah Rogers brings us that story.
