Opposition to housing development project in Bromont
A group of residents of the town of Bromont are trying to block a proposed housing development on the mountain. A promoter wants to build 55 new units along two summits that make up part of Bromont's mountain range. The group says that land should be designated as park area to help protect a range that is already covered in ski trails and other housing developments. Local businessman Robert Désourdy has presented a petition to city hall asking just that. We also hear from the developper, Charles Désourdy. He's president of Immobilier Ski Bromont.
