Friendly turban vs. kippa soccer match
The ban of religious symbols has easily been the hot topic for September. Earlier this summer, when the Quebec Soccer Federation ordered that turbans be left in locker room, many voices came out against the ban. The Federation has since changed its policy, and other religious communities came out in support of the Sikh community.

Mukhbir Singh is the Vice-President of the World Sikh Organization of Canada and a director of the Sikh Community Centre of Montreal. Robert Sassoon is the organizer from the Jewish community of Montreal.
They joined us to tell us how the Sikh and Jewish groups are coming together to create interfaith activities, like soccer games.
