Environmental concerns over Samuel de Champlain boardwalk
Plans for the final stage of Quebec City's Samuel de Champlain boardwalk have hit a snag. The proposed plan was to continue developping 2.5 km between Côte Sillery and Côte Gilmour before 2016, with a $100 million dollar budget. The BAPE says some of the plans will have to be changed in order to protect the environment and the waterfront ecosystem. Johanne Elsener from Québec Arbre weighs in on the recommendations.
