Quebecois Clown sharing laughter with the world

VERMETTE.jpgYou may remember Robin William's interpretation of Doctor Hunter "Patch" Adams in the 1998 feature film.
Fifteen years later, the real Patch Adams continues to bring his clown performances to hospitals and orphanages around the world, in hopes of bringing some comfort to those in need. He recently visited a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan, with a group of 20 clowns he hand-picked for the trip.

Trois-Rivières native Guillaume Vermette was among that group.

He's the Artistic Director of Clowns without Borders Canada and Founder and artistic director of the clown theater company Les Production Yahou! We reached Guillaume Vermette in Montreal as he prepares for his next trip to Russia.
