Scrapping the Hôtel-Dieu expansion project will "destroy a very strong academic team."
A month ago, Health Minister Réjean Hébert announced a change of plans for the historic Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Old Quebec. The planned expansion was off and instead, a new facility will be built in the wide open spaces around the Enfant-Jésus Hospital.
Doctors there were delighted. But now the medical staff at Hôtel-Dieu is speaking out because they believe the move would be a mistake.
