Winter weather challenges for people with reduced mobility
People with reduced mobility, namely people who use canes, wheelchairs or walkers are particularly inconvenienced by the obstacles winter weather presents. Romain Dubé lives in Quebec City, and uses a cane. Quebec AM's Julia Caron met him on the streets of the Montcalm neighbourhood where he told her about his experience with ice. Linda Gauthier, president of RAPLIQ, also tells us about what challenges ice and snow present for wheelchair users - and what possible solutions exist.
