Making cities liveable for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists
Cities are faced with figuring out how all those people can get from point A to point B in an efficient, eco-friendly way. Gil Penalosa is the Executive Director of 8-80 Cities. He was in Quebec City to deliver the keynote address for the Canadian Urban Transit Associaiton Fall Conference, "Sustainable Cities." He makes it his business to make cities liveable, bikeable and walkable. Quebec AM's Julia Caron met up with him next to a busy street to find out how his ideas might apply to Quebec City.
