State of the art speed climbing wall open to the public
With rock climbing in consideration to become an Olympic sport in the 2020 Games, some enthusiasts and athletes are already gearing up. One club in Quebec City is doing its part to give young Quebec athletes in training a leg up on the competition. The rock climbing center, Délire, at les Galeries de la Canardière in Quebec City has added a brand new speed wall. It's the first of its kind in Quebec, measuring 10 meters high by 3 metres wide, at a 5 degree angle. Vincent Legaré is co-owner of Délire, and gave Quebec AM's Julia Caron a tour.
