Fewer baby belugas in the St. Lawrence?
Belugas in the Saint Lawrence are closely monitored by researchers to ensure the endangered species is protected. Normally, research teams spot up to two baby belugas every day between Riviere-du-Loup and Les Escoumins. But this summer, the marine mammal research group only spotted two baby belugas total - all summer long. President of the research group, Robert Michaud explains.
