Refugees in Quebec asked to pay for drugs up front
Pharmacists in Quebec are in a dispute with the federal Citizenship and Immigration Department over repayment of drugs for refugees in this province. They have asked refugees to pay up front, otherwise they will refuse to fill those prescriptions. Susan speaks with Dr. Norbert Gilmore, professor emeritus at McGill and the director of the HIV clinics at the McGill University Health Centre about the implications.
