Is sports journalism a man's game?


"Sports has a setting -- it's set to men." So says San Francisco sports radio host Damon Bruce, whose nine-minute rant against women in the sports world earlier this month outraged many. 

Bruce made the comments on his KNBR segment The Damon Bruce Show -- but is his opinion the micro that illustrates the macro? Where are the woman who hold positions of true power in the sports journalism industry? 

Jian speaks with sports journalists Amy K. Nelson and Megan Greenwell to gauge their reaction to Bruce's comments, get their take on what needs to change in the industry, and to find out whether they've experienced sexism on the job.
