Georges St-Pierre has come a long way from being bullied at school in
his hometown of Saint-Isidore, Quebec.
One of the world's
best UFC fighters, he can now add author to his resume, with the
release of The Way of the Fight. GSP joined Jian in studio to discuss
how mixed martial arts helped him gain psychological strength over
bullies, as well as the suffering he's gone through to maintain a career
as an athlete in a sport he loves.
While he recognizes that there is a "bad" kind of fear, St-Pierre
believes that there's good fear too, and that it's what drives him in
the ring. As terrifying as MMA can be, when he steps into the ocotgan,
"I'm a different person," he says. "I'm very confident."
