Yamantaka // Sonic Titan's genre-bending sound

This week's Friday Live guests were unlike any music act we've had in studio Q. The Montreal/Toronto band electrified us with their genre-bending blend of operatic, heavy and progressive tunes from their new album, Uzu.

The artists call themselves an Asian, Indigenous and Diasporic Art Collective, one that foregrounds myth-building and themes of identity in their work.

After the unique spectacle they brought to the building, our video editors went straight to work. These are performances you've simply got to see.
