Oxyana not 'ruin porn' says documentary maker

Sean Dunne's documentary examines the effect of Oxycontin on Oceana, West Virginia

The documentary Oxyana portrays a bleak picture of Oceana, West Virginia -- an Appalachian town deeply affected by prescription pill abuse.

Director Sean Dunne joins guest host Kevin Sylvester to talk about the film and address the controversy it has caused among some residents, who see it as an one-sided portrayal of Oceana.

"They don't like the film, but there is an issue," said Dunne, who was moved by his own father's struggle to seek out ground-level stories.

"What we set out to do was spark a dialogue and if that's what we're doing then I feel like we've done our job."
