Andy Carvin is NPR's Senior Strategist, which means he spends a lot of time on twitter. He's been known to send up to a thousand tweets a day about events like the Arab Spring or the Newtown massacre, crowdsourcing his followers to verify facts and provide more accurate information about what's happening. Andy Carvin spoke to Jian about getting to the emotional heart of a story when you're a world away.
