Does single-sex schooling do more harm than good?


For decades, many educators have made arguments in favour of single-sex schooling. One of the most common arguments is that separating boys and girls can lead to greater confidence and academic achievement for each.

Yet, in a report released last week, the American Civil Liberties Union found that harmful gender stereotypes are prevalent in single-sex classes.
