Jason Collett, Bahamas, Snowblink and the power of collaboration

Listen

Jason Collett's Basement Revue is becoming something of a holiday ritual in Toronto. For the past six years, the Broken Social Scene member and solo artist has curated a series of nights of musical and literary collaboration featuring surprise appearances by the likes of Feist, Buck 65, and members of Metric, Stars and Sloan. Today, we transplanted the revue on air with three Canadian indie acts performing their own songs, backed by each other.

Jason Collett performed the song "Miss Canada" from his latest record Reckon, Bahamas performed "I've Got You Babe" from his latest Barchords, and rising duo Snowblink performed "Unsurfed Waves" from their album Inner Classics.
