Should Facebook do more to protect kids?

A group of concerned citizens in British Columbia, including the mother of Amanda Todd, is calling for social media sites like Facebook to do more to ensure they are safe for young users. Sandy Garrosino of The Red Hood Project is one of the authors of an open letter to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, calling on her to take action. But Parry Aftab of Facebook's Safety Advisory Board says the company already has many safety measures in place, more would lead to too much surveillance, and that parents need to take more responsibility for what their children are doing online.
