Teddy bear trouble in Belarus

Listen

Last month, people in Minsk were surprised to see hundreds of teddy bears parachuting down on their city, in an action calling for free speech.

The action has caused a diplomatic spat, and a mounting political crisis in Belarus.

The protest was planned and carried out by the Swedish ad agency Studio Total. Guest host Stephen Quinn talks to CEO Per Cromwell about why his company decided to get involved and how they managed to pull off the stunt.

UPDATES: Two Belarussians arrested after the teddy bear airdrop have been released on bail. Belarus's foreign minister has been fired.
