Should there be a code of ethics for kids on reality TV?


It  was recently announced that 6-year-old Alana Thompson (AKA Honey Boo Boo of "Toddlers and Tiaras" fame) will be getting her own spin-off reality series. This has got some observers raising ethical questions about kids in the reality show spotlight.

Today, Jian spoke to culture reporter Alyssa Rosenberg and professor Alison Hearn about whether the reality TV industry needs a code of ethics when it comes to the presentation of children.
