On Today's show, guest host Jim Brown spoke to French senator Chantal Jouanno. She's calling for a ban on child beauty pageants in France as well as the use of underage models and the marketing of children's lingerie.
In a new parliamentary report, Senator Jouanno writes that young girls are being dressed as "sexual candy" in beauty pageants, which she sees as "contrary to the dignity of the human being" and a step backward for gender equality.
