With his new book, Religion for Atheists, writer and thinker Alain de Botton is putting himself in the middle of one of the most heated issues of our time -- the debate between religious believers and atheists.
These two forces continue to battle over the existence of God and the worthiness of faith, but de Botton says instead of denigrating religious faith and practices, it's time for atheists to value what religion has to offer, and to claim the best of it for themselves.
What do you think? Is it a good idea for atheists to borrow ideas from religion? Does religion without God work? Or is the whole idea of religion for atheists offensive?
