Mike Daisey on Q

MikeDaisey.jpgToday, Jian spoke to writer and performer Mike Daisey about his one-man show The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs.

In it, Daisey tells the story of his trip to China to find out where the Apple products he loves are made. He talks to workers in factories in Shenzhen about the conditions they work under -- and he is horrified.

The show has been getting a lot of attention. And after months of pressure, Apple announced this week that it would be allowing independent investigators to audit its suppliers and make those findings public.

What do you think? Does knowing how your favourite high-tech gadgets are made change the way you feel about them?
