Q's Six-Word Modern Love Story Contest!

The goal is simple: tell a full and rich modern love tale in just six words. Funny. Sad. Sexy. Or futuristic sexy, the kind with spaceships. The choice is yours.

(Ernest Hemingway started the whole six-word story idea by writing this one -- "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." He's said to have thought it was his best work.)

NOTE: The official contest is now closed. Have a listen below as Jian and special guest judge Nikki Payne announce the winners! And you can check out the rest of our Modern Love special series here.

For inspiration, some six-word stories from the pros:

"Found true love. Married someone else." - Dave Eggers

"Starlet sex scandal. Giant squid involved." - Margaret Atwood

"We kissed. She melted. Mop please!" - James Patrick Kelly

"I'm dead. I've missed you. Kiss ... ?" - Neil Gaiman
