Arranged marriage versus love marriage

AshaandRavi.jpg Today Ravi Jain and his mother Asha were on the show to talk about their long-running argument over just when Ravi is going to get married, and their innovative stage production that brings that private fight into the open.

Five years ago, just as Ravi was poised to begin his career in theatre, his mother let him know it was time to get married and settle down, and for the family to start introducing him to suitable candidates for an arranged marriage.

The two tell their charmingly competing versions of what happened next in A Brimful of Asha, now playing in Toronto. Not only do they lay this sometimes raw personal fight bare, they encourage the audience to let them know who is right... And now, you too can weigh in. Have a listen below, and let us know who you think makes the more compelling case.
