Do you want your internet provider to block porn?

kidscomputer.jpgThat's the plan unveiled recently in the UK. The government announced that the country's largest Internet Service Providers will begin to filter all porn web sites -- unless customers explicitly opt out of the filtering.

It's a plan that's left some cheering, and others questioning how effective the move will be and whether or not the plan itself is appropriate.

Reg Bailey of the Mothers' Union and Salon's Tracy Clark-Flory debated the issues on today's Q. Or is it a slippery slope to allow the filtering of any online content? And will it be effective in shielding children from pornography images?
