Chris Isaak stopped by Studio Q for a feature chat about his new record. For Beyond The Sun he and his long-time band made a pilgrimage to Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee.
It's a record that includes his versions of some of the greatest hits of the 1950s, including "Can't Help Falling In Love" and "Walk The Line".
It was a great conversation, covering his early years as a boxer in Japan, what it was like being the only kid in 50s suits in high school in the 1970s. He even sang a few bars of his 1989 hit "Wicked Game".
