Montreal's Arcade Fire were last night's big winner at the Polaris Music Prize -- for the best Canadian album of the past year, based soley on artistic merit.
Their album The Suburbs had already racked up wins as album of the year at both the Grammys and the Junos before the Polaris nod.
Back in June of last year, a few days before The Suburbs was released, Jian sat down with band members Win Butler, Régine Chassagne and Richard Reed Parry in their Montreal rehearsal space for a feature interview. Check out the video below, from the Q Vault.
