Director Steve McQueen and actor Michael Fassbender's last collaboration was the critically acclaimed 2008 drama Hunger, which took a gritty look at the final days of Irish hunger striker Bobby Sands. Now, the duo is back with Shame, a raw look at a man obsessed with random sexual encounters. Fassbender just won the best actor award at the Venice Film Festival for his searing performance of a man who is driven, yet emotionally disconnected. The duo talked to Jian about the film today in Studio Q.
