Ian and Sylvia Tyson began playing folk in Toronto clubs in 1959. They quickly went to the top of the heap on the Canadian folk scene, and their success in the United States helped put Canadian folk music on the international map. The duo dropped by Studio Q for rare joint interview today, in which they discussed their role in creating the "folk revival" of the mid 20th century and Four Strong Winds: Ian and Sylvia, the new biography by music journalist John Einarson, penned with Ian and Sylvia's cooperation.
